I was born in Kuala Lumpur in 1973 into a family of government professionals, which greatly influenced my early interest in the public service sector. Over 27-year tenure, I have worked across various ministries and agency.

In 2019, I was appointed as the Under Secretary at the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), where I lead the Electricity Supply Division. The role has deepened as currently, I am leading the Energy Sector. The main task is to position Malaysia as one of a leader in the global energy transition, meeting the target of 70% installed capacity in renewable energy and to achieve net zero by 2050.
