Keith Tan
Deputy Secretary (Energy and Carbon)
Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) Singapore
Keith Tan was appointed as the Deputy Secretary (Industry) of Ministry of Trade and Industry on 1 August 2023, and Deputy Secretary (Energy and Carbon) on 1 April 2024.
He has held appointments in the Singapore Tourism Board, the Ministries of Defence, Home Affairs, and Trade and Industry, as well as in the Public Service Division and Civil Service College. He is currently on the Boards of the Urban Redevelopment Authority, JTC Corporation, Singapore Energy Assets Pte Ltd, and the School Advisory of Committee Changkat Primary School.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a certificate in Russian Studies from Princeton University, and a master’s degree in management from the Peter Drucker School of Management, Claremont Graduate University.
