Syahrunizam Samsudin is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Malakoff Corporation Berhad, having joined the company on 1 September 2025 following his tenure as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UEM Edgenta Berhad.
He has held several leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer of TnG Sdn. Bhd., where he led Malaysia’s largest electronic payments company through a full digital transformation and launched the TnG e-Wallet in collaboration with Ant Financial. He was also Chief Executive Officer of MTU Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and President of Scomi Engineering Bhd., and was involved in establishing ventures such as SBS Technology Solutions and Ata Plus. Earlier, he played a key role in setting up iPerintis (now Petronas ICT Sdn. Bhd.), where he later served as the Chief Operating Officer.
He holds a double degree in Commerce (Accounting) and Laws (LLB Hons) from the Australian National University and is a member of the Harvard Club of Malaysia.
