Ami Moris brings three decades of experience in the Capital Market, with a highlight being her 4-year tenure as CEO of Maybank Investment Banking Group, leading the Group through the Covid era and one of its fastest growth trajectories.
As Group Managing Director of Cypark Resources Berhad, Malaysia’s leading renewable energy company, Ami is focused on supporting Malaysia’s energy transition through deploying solar, biogas and waste-to-energy power generation solutions across Malaysia.
Ami’s tenure as Chair of the 30% Club Malaysia stands out for its achievement of the 30% target of women on boards in the top 100 Public Listed Companies, marking a significant advancement in corporate diversity and inclusion in Malaysia.
Ami was a Commissioner at SPAN, the Water Commission of Malaysia, from 2022-2024 and on the Board of University of Malaya from 2021 to 2024. She is currently serving on the Board of Cagamas Berhad and also the Chair of the CEOs Action Network or CAN.
