Chong Van Nee co-heads the Infrastructure and Utilities Ratings team at RAM Rating Services Berhad (RAM Ratings). In her role, she leads credit analysis on concession-based entities and infrastructure corporates, with a strong focus on the power, renewable energy and water sectors. Over her 20-year career at RAM Ratings, Van Nee has played a key role in developing and publishing rating criteria and methodologies, industry insights and research publications. She regularly contributes to Rating Committee deliberations on bond and sukuk ratings.

Van Nee is also actively involved in external capacity-building efforts for parties seeking a deeper understanding of RAM’s approach to project-finance transactions. Earlier in her career, she handled rating assignments across multiple industries under RAM’s Consumer Products & Services division and spent time in corporate receivership and liquidation with an accounting firm. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Curtin University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
