Dr. Christopher Len is Policy Director at the Future Energy Storage & System Integration Alliance (FESSIA), where he leads the organisation’s regional policy strategy across the ASEAN region. His work focuses on energy storage, grid flexibility, and system integration to support Southeast Asia’s energy transition and accelerate the deployment of renewables.
Christopher has more than two decades of experience working on Asian energy politics, sustainability, and the energy transition. His research has examined Asia’s evolving energy systems, China’s overseas energy interests, and how a fragmented global order is reshaping the region’s energy landscape amid climate change. He has worked on issues including energy governance, regional cooperation, and low-carbon pathways for Southeast Asia.
Alongside his role at FESSIA, Christopher serves as Senior Fellow and Acting Coordinator with the Climate Change in Southeast Asia Programme at the ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute in Singapore, where he continues to work on climate and energy policy in the region.
