Oliver is Head of Sustainability at OCBC Bank Malaysia Bhd, a subsidiary of the OCBC, where he drives the implementation of the Bank’s sustainability and climate strategy while supporting sustainable finance endeavours . Early in his career, Oliver focused on sustainable palm oil, engaging with brands, manufacturers and producers on deforestation and exploitation-free supply chains, before transitioning to sustainable finance. He has led work on various sustainability areas including policy development, implementation strategy, ESG due diligence, on-site verification and sustainability reporting. He has led the development of industry-driven regulation including the BNM Climate Change and Principles-based Taxonomy (CCPT) and works with various stakeholders and financial sector clients on climate transition, sustainability impact, and capacity building
