Yee Ho has been with UOB for over 12 years and previously managed the North American energy portfolio based in Calgary, Canada. He moved back to UOB head office in Singapore mid 2024, and has since taken up role of Head of Battery, Manufacturing & Energy Storage which is part of UOB Sector Solutions Group, specialising in the structuring and financing of battery value chain including the deployment of BESS, empowering the renewable power portfolio growth. Yee Ho has a Masters of Engineering degree from Oxford University, and prior to UOB, he has worked with Shell in different roles within the energy value chain in various countries including Scotland, Malaysia, China, Singapore and Canada.

Yee Ho was part of the key deal team to structure and deliver the bank’s first green project financing of a standalone BESS project in the UK, and continues to work with his team to support other BESS and battery value chain related deals in the region.
